Climaviso

Your municipality's weather-warning history, ready for the proposal

If your town hall, provincial council or research group is preparing an EU-funded climate adaptation project in Spain, you will need a baseline of exposure to severe weather and an indicator to track it. Climaviso has it worked out for every municipality in Spain, from official data updated four times a day.

What we provide

  • Baseline: days with a yellow, orange and red warning by year, month and hazard (rain, storms, heat, wind, cold, snow, coastal…) for every municipality and zone, since June 2018. As CSV or as a report.
  • Tracking indicator: the same indicator, kept up to date for the life of the project, for interim reports and the final evaluation.
  • Episodes: the severe episodes that hit your zone, with dates, levels and how the warnings changed hour by hour.
  • Outreach: a free public page for every town that the project can link to in its communication plan.
